21 Apr 2008 I recently 17 Apr 2008 The second in my series of covers for Design Week is out now! I will be in NYC next month from 1st-7th May - any art directors/buyers/fellow artists/collaborators who fancy meeting while I am in town, just hollar! Also for the forseeable future, I am illustrating a weekly column, 'Lives', in the New York Times Magazine - the first one is out on 27th April. Studio Wales has taken Two Thousand and Great by storm with new commissions from The New York Times, John Brown Publishing, Story Worldwide and The Guardian. As well as working with Winkreative on illustrations for the new quarterly publication from Abercrombie and Fitch, I have just finished the first in a year-long series of covers and contents pages for Design Week. I'm also working on an exciting new 3D project with old friends Fallon for a press ad which will be with you soon... My screenprint 'Class of' is also up for grabs as a competition prize in this month's Creative Review.
And thanks to Michael at Boicozine for citing me as 'one of the foremost up & coming 'Graphics Illustrators' today'! (Let me know when you want that drink ok?)
17 Dec 2007 Some of my work is featured in a new book by Rotovsion called Secrets of Digital Illustration which is available to buy here and in the fantastic new YCN Book 0708. 17 Nov 2007 I have produced a 3-colour screen print to be published by Early Griffin Press which will be available to buy next month, along with work by fellow artists Neasden Control Centre and Robert Hanson who make up Series Two. 10% of the profits from my print will be donated to International Animal Rescue who are working to stop the illegal dancing bear trade. This week I have mostly been in Berlin hanging ten with the HORT in their new studio and chasing after snowflakes. 2 Nov 2007 I have a new studio phone / fax number which is +44 (0)208 985 2316. Same address though. Also I will be exhibiting some new work at Analogue Books in Edinburgh next month in a show called Take To The Woods, you can see the flyer here. 29 Sep 2007 Lots of new personal work / prints this week. 07 Sep 2007 After much deliberation over what colours to use whilst cycling in circles round the park, I've relaunched my website. I'd love to know what you think! Thanks to Grafik magazine for the recent Q+A about my wardrobe habits. Two new projects for John Brown coming soon, along with an exhibition in Holloway as part of DesignersBlock. And if you're in London, be sure to pay a visit to Brown's Shoe Shop of Curiosities, 61 Wilton Way E8 for some new woodpeckers made from sellotape... |
